Playing Rule Proposals

Recommendations for amendments to the Hockey Canada Playing Rules can be submitted by Members or Operational Committees. Hockey Alberta will review submitted recommendations to ensure that, before a decision is made, all information required to make an informed decision has been gathered and reviewed.

Proposals for changes to the Hockey Canada Playing Rules must be submitted to Hockey Alberta by March 31 (NOTE: Hockey Canada only reviews proposals every second year to consider them for a rule-change year). Hockey Alberta will determine which recommendations will be submitted to Hockey Canada for consideration.
