Development 1 for Female Coaches

The Development 1 Course is a Hockey Canada program in partnership with the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) to provide certification to coaches working within the elite streams of hockey.

This course will provide a foundation for coaches coaching in the competitive streams in the following areas: Drill Progressions and Regressions, Skills Analysis, Seasonal Planning, Linking individual skills and tactics, Team building and team tactics, Goaltending. This certification is a requirement for all head coaches working with U13, U15, and U18 AA teams. 

WHO: Any females looking to coach at the AA level and above. Open to all Females over the age of 16.

WHEN: April 21 & 22, 2023

TIMES: Friday, 5:00pm - 9:00pm; Saturday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. 

WHERE: Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre (Red Deer, Alberta)

COST: $150 + GST
