2023 National Aboriginal Hockey Championship Selection Camp - Male
This is for 2005-2009 Born Players. Once registration has closed, tryout teams will be formed and players will be notified by email of their Check-in time and their ice sessions. All players will receive a minimum of 1 SAG session and 2 games.
The 2023 NAHC will take place in Winnipeg, MB on May 7-13, 2023 at the Seven Oaks Arena.

Registration is now open for Male athletes born in 2005-2009 to participate in the 2023 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships.
The selection camp will be held in Red Deer on August 4-6, 2022.
The cost to take part in the camp is $200+GST which will include a jersey, plus on-ice practices and games for each participant attending.
The 2023 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships will be in Winnigep in May of 2023.

Ancestry
Teams must be comprised of players and coaches who are of Indigenous ancestry. Every player and coach must carry (bring with) with him/her, documentation that verifies his/her Indigenous ancestry. Picture identification and a Provincial Metis Card (from Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia), Certificate of Indian Status card or Territories Health Card will be acceptable.
If the athlete does not have a card, a parents’/ grandparents card accompanied by a certified P/T ANCESTRY FORM - must be provided.
If the player and or coach is non-status (Indian) a detailed ANCESTRY FORM - must be completed to prove Indigenous ancestry. The ANCESTRY FORM will document their lines of decent. It will be authenticated and endorsed by the parent(s) or guardian(s), Head Coach and the Provincial/Territorial Aboriginal Sport Body (P/TASB).
Residency
a) Players must play in the Province or Territory where their parent(s) or legal (must be court appointed) guardian(s) permanently reside. Proof must be available and provided upon request (Provincial Health card or court document).
OR
b) Players registered at a Full Time (Complete year) Hockey Academy Examples: (Pursuit of Excellence (BC), Notre Dame (SK), Balmoral (MB), Banff Hockey Academy (AB)) may participate in the Province they are attending school in. These players must fill out the Academic Residency Form.
