U13 AA CBHA Rangers
The CBHA U13AA Rangers hockey team embraced the holiday spirit by giving back to their community in a meaningful way. The team organized a call to action, asking for donations of new and unused toys to support the Calgary Firefighters Toy Association. The response was incredible, with an outpouring of generosity from the community. To deliver the collected toys, the Rangers visited Station 43, where their team manager, firefighter Chris Scholz, gave them an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. The players learned about the hall, how the fire truck operates, and the gear and equipment used by firefighters in their lifesaving work. The Calgary Firefighters Toy Association’s mission is to bring joy to families in need during the holiday season. Each year, more than 1,700 families are invited to attend a very special Christmas party. Guests are treated to lunch, live entertainment, and an exciting visit from Santa Claus. Every child under 12 receives a gift from Santa along with a bag of seasonal treats. This experience not only allowed the team to contribute to this heartwarming mission but also inspired them by witnessing firsthand the dedication and kindness of local heroes. The Rangers are proud to have supported such an impactful cause and look forward to continuing acts of kindness in the future.
