Team Trainer
The TRAC (Three Rivers Athletic Club) U18AA Wolverines hockey team based out of Whitecourt, Alberta is accepting applications for the Team Trainer position.
The Team Trainer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing medical assistance to players that may get injured during games and working with families to support a player’s return to play.
Applicants must have hockey knowledge with preference to those who have experience working with competitive hockey teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment. They must also have First Aid & CPR as a base requirement.
If selected, applicants will be required to complete the Respect in Sport Activity Leader and Trainer/Safety - Hockey Canada Safety Program - Level 1 courses.
The time commitment would be games on weekends and the occasional Friday which would cover regular season, tournament, and playoff games. There will be out of province travel.
This is a part-time paid position with expenses such as mileage ($/km), meals (allowance), accommodations, and medical supplies also covered by the team.
