We are excited to announce that coaching applications are now open for the 2025/2026 hockey
season. The following teams are seeking dedicated and qualified coaches

• U18 AA Butchers and Packers
• U16 AA United Cycle
• U15 AA Think Green Alberta
• U15 AA Imperial Equities

Coaching Requirements
Refer to Hockey Alberta’s Coach Education Requirements for the specific credentials
required for each level. For further professional development and resources, consider exploring:

Advocacy opportunities for Alberta coaches. Visit the CAB website to join and complete
a short survey to help shape their services. - Hockey Alberta’s Coach Education Requirements Page: Information on required

player evaluations, and more.
Thank you for your interest in joining CAC’s elite hockey program. We look forward to
reviewing your application and building an outstanding coaching roster for the upcoming season.
CAC teams are comprised of the following levels: U11AA, U13 AA, U13AAA, U15 AA, U15 AAA, U16 AA, U17 AAA, U18 AA
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct a season-long program, integrated with development vendors, and focused on long term athletic development
- Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, positive, and supportive team environment
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club officials
- Promote the program and recruit new players as needed
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
- Use technology as an opportunity to enhance player development
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of coaching experience at an elite hockey level
- Hockey Canada pre-requisite coaching certifications up to and including Development 1 (AA) and High Performance 1 (AAA)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
