551 CLUB

The 551 Club is a dedicated group of people who believe in our game and its impact on the communities and future of hockey in our province. Funds donated through the 551 Club will be directed to our three key pillars.

"Those before us...those who lead us...those who need us."

Those before us... Celebrate Alberta's hockey history by supporting the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame's historic showcase and create educational programs and resources that can be made available to schools and other programs. Click here for more information on the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame.

Those who lead us... Grow the Future Leaders Development Program which encourages post secondary students to become future leaders in our game through educational and scholarship opportunities. Click here to learn more about the Future Leaders Scholarship Program.

Those who need us... Support the Every Kid Every Community fund, which is a new project designed to get kids who aren't currently playing hockey involved in the game. Click here to learn more.

The Hockey Alberta Foundation's goal is to raise a total of one million dollars over 5 years through support of the 551 Club. This means recruiting 400 Albertans who are committed to making a significant difference in hockey in Alberta. Of a $551 membership, $500 is a direct donation towards the club in which the donor will receive a charitable tax receipt. The remaining $51 of the membership go towards the administration and growth of the club and the Hockey Alberta Foundation.
