HIGH PERFORMANCE 1
The 2013 Hockey Alberta NCCP High Performance 1 Coaching Seminar will take place July 15th-21st in Calgary, Alberta.
The NCCP High Performance 1 Seminar will include professional speakers in the delivery of sessions featuring topics such as special teams, yearly plan, offensive/defensive individual tactics, offensive/defensive team play systems, goaltending, ethical decision making and many more.
In addition to classroom lectures and tasks, the selected coaches will plan and run on-ice sessions as well as coach on the bench in game situations. The NCCP High Performance 1 coaches will be guided by some of the best leaders and mentors in Alberta and Canada.
Coaches will work with some of Alberta's top Bantam athletes as part of a Team Alberta Elite Development Camp. This will provide one of the best professional development opportunities for our coaches.
Following the week long seminar, coaches will be required to complete a final assignment and a practical
field evaluation to complete their HP1 Certification.
