WELCOME GUESTS AND PARTICIPANTS TO THE 2013 FEMALE PEEWEE 'A' INVESTORS GROUP HOCKEY ALBERTA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP HOSTED BY GRANDE PRAIRIE!

Good luck to all teams in your playdowns. Please contact our Accomodation Coordinator Kara Sallis at 780-518-9640 (ksallis@bonnettsenergy.com) once you have won your zone to be given your hotel information. Rooms have been blocked off for each winning zone.

A catalog for Provincial Hockey merchandise will be available shortly. Please contact our Merchandise Coordinator Ellen Coristine at coristine.e@gmail.com. Once you have made your purchase, they will be available for pick up during Provincials.

Opening Ceremonies will take place on March 15, 2013 at 5:30 pm. Details to follow. We would like to make the Opening ceremonies a fun and fantastic event so please have all player dressed in uniform and a unique theme. Everyone will be expected to wear shoes on the ice except for the teams who will be playing after the Opening Ceremonies. Each team is encouraged to bring approximately 180 pins from their city/association to trade. We also require each team to bring 20 team roster labels.

There will be no charge for Gate Admission all weekend for all guests and participants.

All games will be played on the twin ice surfaces at the Coca Cola Center which is located at 6 KNOWLEDGE WAY. There is skate sharpening availble on site for a nominal fee of $5.25. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 3:00-9:00pm, Sat 9:00-9:00 and Sun 9:00-6:00 pm. Connected to the Coca Cola Center is the Eastlink Center which has aquatic and fitness facility, running track, indoor fieldhouse, squash & racketball courts and a few vendors including Second Cup, Wannawaffel, Tito's Bistro and Jugo Juice.

There will be a Coaches/Managers Meeting on Thursday March 14, 2013 @ 8:00pm.

Merchandise and a prize table will be available throughout the weekend.

A Sports Photographer (MT Actions) will be taking pictures during the tournament. Payment for pictures can be arranged with the photographer and his staff.

A pasta lunch will be provided for all players and coaches attending Provincials. Tickets will offered to any additional family members or friends of the team for $15.00/meal. Forms will be sent out to each team for anyone wishing to purchase additional meals.
