Elite Player Movement Application
The application period for this form is May 1 to JuLY 1 each year. NO APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED OUTSIDE OF THIS TIME PERIOD.
Applications WILL OPEN May 1, and must be received by Hockey Alberta no later than JuLY 1.
SUBMISSIONS COMPLETED IN MAY, WILL BE REVIEWED IN JUNE. SUBMISSIONS COMPLETED IN JUNE, WILL BE REVIEWED IN JULY.
Players are expected to access their first Elite Tryout with the Recruitment Area or Draw Zone that draws from the Minor Hockey Association the player is registered with. Should a player wish to access their first tryout with a different Recruitment Area or Draw Zone, they need to submit an Elite Player Movement Application to Hockey Alberta.
The Elite Player Movement Application is for any player who:
- wants to access AA or AAA tryouts for the first time and wishes to access a tryout outside of their registered Recruitment Area / Draw Zone.
- competed in AA during the previous season and wishes to tryout for a different AA team this season.
- competed in AAA during the previous season and wishes to tryout for a different AAA team this season.
